From Bangkok by bus and boat Just go from the airport to Khaosan Road by Taxi or Bus. There you will find a lot of Guesthouses where you could stay if you need to relax or where you could book immediately a well organized trip to Koh Tao. The buses are usually going over night to Chumphon, a town on the mainland. From there you will get a speed boat or express boat to Koh Tao in the morning and at noontime you will already be on our island. Average costs for bus and boat 450-700 Baht
From Bangkok by train(sleeper) and Boat Also from Khaosan Road, or directly at the train station nearby, you could go by sleeper to Chumphon and continue then with speed boat or express boat. We from Hin Wong Divers recommend the aircon sleeper, not because of the temperature, but because of less noise. Average costs for sleeper and boat 1000 Baht
From the Koh Tao Pier to Hin Wong The pier is located on the westside and Hin Wong on the eastside of Koh Tao. Our 4 wheel drive truck is regularly in the morning between 9 am and 10 am in the marketstreet close to the pier. We from Hin Wong Divers recomend a reservation by e-mail, so that we can arrange for the car to pick you up and get smoothly to Hin Wong Bay. Note: Normal taxis are not going to Hin Wong Bay because of the very steep road through the jungle.
